Would you be able to travel through space if you traveled through time? Say you traveled to August 12, 1956 from present day Oklahoma. Would it be possible to travel directly to that day in Spain even though you left from Oklahoma?

Are we supposed to believe that if we give bailout money to the Automakers, they won't lay off almost just as many people anyway?

I just keep putting things off. Don't worry about it. I just hate where I am right now.

It's snowing here. And it's like nighttime at 4:30. Winter is amazing.

---EDIT: Never mind. Everything is on fire.

I'm so broke that if you gave me twenty dollars, I doubt I would be at zero.
Why does this happen at the same time every year?

Holy shit I'm really broke. I went from living comfortably with no major problems to "Where the fuck did all my money go?" in about 24 hours.

I want to go to these music things [13 Aug 2008|07:46pm]
You like The Hives? You like Eagles of Death Metal? Guess the fuck what. They're playing a couple miles from my house on Spetember 21. You want to go? Probably not but I am. Tickets are $25, which is more than I have ever paid for a concert ever in my life, but I don't think I can miss this show.
Also, have you seen the line-up for Street Scene? Where did that come from? http://www.street-scene.com/ Beck. X. Vampire Weekend. Spoon. The Hives. GZA. Eagles of Death Metal. Del. Night Marchers. And it's back downtown. Who am I supposed to thank for this? I think it's like $85 for a 2 day pass. I always hate Street Scene, but it's looking real good this year. That's on the 19 and the 20 of September. Maybe I can just go to Street Scene and not have to shell out the $25 for the Hives and Eagles of Death Metal the next day.
I just found out that I didn't miss the Black Keys and Lady Dottie & the Diamonds at that SoCo Music Experience thing. I thought it was late July. It's August 23. That's the Saturday before I start school. And it's free. I would pay no money and see the Black Keys. I can't think of a cooler way to spend a saturday. Maybe I can make it late saturday and miss work sunday.

Here's what I'm putting on Craigslist for a new roommate search [21 Jul 2008|02:50pm]
Oh man. Oh jeez. Oh man. How are you doing? You all right? Good, man. Good. Look, I know I seem frantic, but that's just because we're doing this same song and dance all over again. Craigslist, you're my best friend and my worst enemy. You give me the best roommates, but they never stay because they're always movin' on up.
My name is Eric. I'm 22, and a RTVF student at CSU Fullerton. I live with Staush. He's 22 also and works all the time doing computer stuff at some office somewhere like a responsible adult. We live in a 3 bedroom/1 bath house and we're looking for a new roommate. Karina, the girl who is living here now, is moving out on August 1st. Oh no! Oh yeah. Seriously, it's a bummer, but not to you because you don't know her and you get to live in the house she's leaving. Can it all be so simple? (That's Wu Tang). I've lived here for a year and a half, and Staush has been here for a couple months. I think we both plan on staying for a while (at least I do) so you don't have to worry about us uprooting anywhere.
Okay, so it's a 3 bed/1 bath house in Anaheim. If you move in, you get your own room with a window and a door and everything. Seriously, $400 for your own room. That $400 doesn't include utilities, which doesn't come out to be that much more considering you're only paying $400/month. Crazy.

Bullet Points:
- Your own room
- $400/month + utilities
- $333 deposit on move in
- No pets
- There are no bats at our house so if you're afraid of them don't worry because we don't have them (Why so serious? That's from Batman.)
- We share a wall with a Bail Bonds place. Not as weird as it sounds. Or it is. I don't know. I've become dull to it.
- Our yardwork gets done for free because of the Bail Bonds. Yeah, weird.
- We have a backyard and a porch. Both things are included with rent!

Uh, let's see. You get full reign of the house. People always ask if they get to use the kitchen. Why would you move into a place that doesn't let you use a kitchen? That's where food is. We only have 1 bathroom, but it's never been a problem. Everything works. We have a fridge and a microwave and a sink and carpet and a poster of Stone Cold Steve Austin in our living room. We don't have cable, but we do have internet. If you want cable, we can totally get it because I want it, but nobody that moves in here EVER DOES. EVER.
So that's it, I guess. This is a pretty good place for people that go to CSU Fullerton. We're really close to that. Oh, and Disneyland. We're down the street from Disneyland. I have an annual pass so I go all the time. We're really close to bus lines and a park too.
If you have questions, e-mail me or give me a call (619)992-0290. I think I'll be showing the place as early as tomorrow through next Wednesday or Thursday. It depends on the response. I can't show it this weekend because of work and stuff, but I'll see if Staush wants to. Okay, that's all over it. Are you on the phone with me? Did I seem nice? I always feel like I'm very rushed on the phone. If that's how I sound right now, I'm sorry. I'll try to do better when we meet in person. Why aren't you calling me? You're hesitating. Oh! Room's gone. Just kidding. It's still here, but you got scared because you hesitated, huh? Down low. Too slow.

Anything else I need? I got good responses from you guys last time.

"I Kissed a Girl" and "UR So Gay" by Kate Perry are probably two of the worst songs ever written.

ClearPlay [20 Jun 2008|10:46pm]

I just saw a commercial for this. It's a DVD player that edits out all the objectionable content in popular movies. You buy this thing called a Filterstick that takes out all the stuff you wouldn't want your family to see, like sex, violence, or plot.
Things like this ruin movies. Terminator 2 was the first R-rated movie I ever saw. It's probably the not the most family friendly movie, but with ClearPlay it can be. And you can skip over all the scenes that you might not want your kids to watch or the parts with character development. They do it for PG-13 movies too.
I'd hate to see movies The Departed or Secretary with ClearPlay. I don't even think I can actually express how much this just gets to me. Stuff that people might find objectionable in movies aren't usually just thrown in to get a rise out of them. Travis Bickle doesn't do what he does in Taxi Driver because Scorsese wants you to stare at your kid out of the corner of your eye to see if he gets what's going on. It's part of the character. And you're going to miss that because you set the "violence" and "sex" filter to "moderate" filtration.
Good job, ClearPlay. You're fucking up movies for everyone.
